Fritz Möhler (born October 23, 1896 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † July 1, 1978 there ) was a German goldsmith and professor .

Life

Möhler founded a workshop in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1923, which was recognized in the German Empire . In 1946 Möhler built up the local goldsmiths' guild and became head master of the guild , an office he held until 1966. In 1948 he was appointed professor for goldsmithing at the state higher technical school for the precious metal industry in Schwäbisch Gmünd . In the 1950s he worked as a state guild master and, among other things, brought together the Baden and Württemberg guilds. In May 1957 Möhler was elected Deputy President of the Central Association of German Goldsmiths, Silversmiths and Jewelers .

Möhler died in 1978 and was buried in the Leonhard Cemetery in Gmünd .
