Fritz Theimer
Friedrich "Fritz" Theimer (born August 28, 1891 in Bílina , Bohemia , † August 21, 1979 in Reichenau an der Rax ) was a teacher , conductor and composer .
He studied at the Technical University in Prague and also attended the Prague Music Academy . Before the Second World War he worked as a grammar school teacher, dedicated himself to music and taught as a contract teacher at the grammar school in Tulln around 1956 . In Germany and also in Turkey he worked as a conductor. His works could also be heard on the radio under the direction of Max Schönherr .
His better-known works include orchestral pieces, the so-called Intermezzi , the Romantic Fantasy for piano and orchestra , and concert waltzes.
