Fritz Zergiebel
Fritz Zergiebel (born September 1, 1915 , † October 7, 2008 in Gera ; also Fritz Zerrgiebel ) was a German football player.
Career
Zergiebel began his football career in 1927 when he was twelve years old in the Pforten district of Gera . In 1933 he became the Osterland champion with Wacker Gera . After the Second World War , he first played for the Gera-Westvororte sports association ; In 1949 he was in the final of the FDGB Cup with BSG Gera-Süd . From 1949 to 1952 he played a total of 81 games in the GDR league for Gera . After completing his playing career, he obtained his trainer diploma at the German University of Physical Culture in Leipzig . After trainer stations u. a. in Hermsdorf , Jena and Aue (1955 to 1958 co-trainer at SC Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt , today FC Erzgebirge Aue ), he worked from 1960 to 1972 as Georg Buschner's assistant trainer at SC Motor Jena (from 1966: FC Carl Zeiss Jena ) .
