Fritz von Bülow

Preben Fritz von Bülow (born April 11, 1933 - May 1, 1993 ) was a Danish jazz guitarist .

In 1960, Bülow belonged to Otto Francker's Septet, which recorded with Robertino Loreti . With a group around Finn Savery , he was involved in the musical Teenager Love in 1962 . In 1965 he played in the Danish Radio Jazz Group , where he was involved in recordings with Sahib Shihab , Ray Pitts , Erik Moseholm and Finn von Eyben . Then he accompanied Svend Asmussen & De Gode Gamle . For many years he was part of Arne Astrup's combo, for which he also arranged. The saxophonist Christina von Bülow is his daughter.

The discographer Tom Lord recorded 23 Bülow recordings between 1954 and 1993.
