The football district league Cottbus 1957 was the sixth season of the football district league Cottbus of the German Football Association . Once again, this year's Cottbus district league was held in a round-robin tournament with 14 teams, based on the Soviet model . The BSG activist Laubusch prevailed with six points ahead of the BSG Lokomotive Cottbus . With the expansion of the second GDR league for the coming season, BSG Chemie Schwarzheide rose alongside Laubusch and Cottbus . The BSG Motor Finsterwalde-Süd , the BSG Progress Cottbus , and the BSG Progress Forest were relegated to the Cottbus district class, in return the BSG activist Schwarze Pump , the BSG Motor Finsterwalde-Ost and the BSG Einheit Forst rose to the district league for the coming season on.
