The 2010 West Asian Football Championship (officially: Zar Macaron 6th Waff Championship, Jordan 2010 ™ ) was held from September 24th to October 3rd in the Jordanian capital, Amman . Nine teams competed in the finals organized by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) to determine the West Asian champions. The official sponsor of the championship was the Iranian noodle manufacturer Zar Marcon .

The tournament was originally intended to be played in Lebanon , but due to the country's internal political situation, it was postponed to Jordan. For the first time, the teams from Kuwait and Bahrain participated.

The winner of the tournament was the team from Kuwait, in the final they defeated Iran 2-1.

Attendees

The nine participating teams were divided into three groups of three teams each. In the group stage, the teams played against each other once in the league system . The group winner and the best runner-up made it to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals played the final. Third place was not played out.

The preliminary round draw took place on July 1, 2010 at the WAFF headquarters in Amman. The following groups emerged:
