Fu Nan ( Chinese  付 楠 , Pinyin Fù Nán ; born February 16, 1984 ) is a former Chinese ice hockey player who played among others for China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey .

Career

Fu Nan began his career as an ice hockey player with the regional team in Qiqihar, for which he competed in the Chinese ice hockey league since 1999 and was national champion there in 2000, 2001 and 2004. Since 2004 he played with the team, which was renamed Changchun Fuao in 2006 , in the Asia League ice hockey . When his team merged with the Beijing team Hosa , Fu also received a contract for the fusion product China Sharks in Shanghai . After two years he went back to the Chinese league after Qiqihar and was Chinese champion again in 2010. From 2010 to the end of his career in 2013, he was again on the ice for China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey.

International

For China , Fu Nan took part in the junior division of Asia Division I of the U18 World Junior Championship in 2000 and Division III of the U20 World Junior Championship in 2004 .

In the senior division, the striker was in China's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2005 and 2007 and in Division II in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and 2013 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2006 Winter Games in Turin .
