Fuderheuberg
Normal way Padinger Alm - Buchmahd

The Fuderheuberg is located north of Bad Reichenhall and belongs to the Staufen mountain range .

It is also known as the Vorderstaufen . The summit cross stands on the Fuderheustein (also called Fuderheustern on some maps ), a 1321  m high rock structure. The highest point at 1350  m is in the direction of Hochstaufen and is poorly suited for a summit cross because of the forest. The Fuderheuberg also gets its name from the continuous forest and the shape of the hill: It looks like a load of hay (truckload of hay ).

Marked paths lead from Piding ( Staufenbrücke or Mauthausen / Staufeneck Castle ) and Bad Reichenhall (Padinger Alm) to the summit. A transition to Hochstaufen is possible via the Steinerne Jäger . In the north there is the uncultivated Pidinger hut about 200 meters below the summit .
