Götzelshard is a district of the municipality of Pollenfeld in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt .

location

The hamlet is located on the plateau of the southern Franconian Jura north of the Altmühltal , in a forest clearing about 4.5 km northeast of Pollenfeld. It is located in the Sornhüll district and consists of three properties. The district road EI 15 leads to Wachenzell and Sornhüll, a municipal road to Hirnstetten .

history

Up until 1866 Götzelshard and Sornhüll belonged to the community of Erkertshofen , then to the community of Altdorf . 1950 Sornhüll became an independent municipality and the district Götzelshard that in the course of municipal reform was incorporated on July 1, 1972 in the municipality of Pollenfeld.
