Günter Bovermann

Günter Bovermann (born November 5, 1929 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Mülheim an der Ruhr , Bovermann studied law and political science at the universities in Mainz and Cologne . He then entered the administrative service. From 1959 to 1965 he worked in the Ministry of Finance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia , was promoted to Dr. jur. and was secretary in the Finance Committee of the Federal Council from 1965 to 1967 . From 1967 to 1969 he headed the budget department in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Hesse .

Bovermann was director of the state personnel office in Hesse from 1976 to 1979. In 1979 he became managing partner of Eurosurvey GmbH in Wiesbaden . He also worked as chairman of the Hessen Nature Conservation Center in Wetzlar .

Public offices

Bovermann served from 1969 to 1976 as State Secretary and Head of the State Chancellery in the government of the State of Hesse led by Prime Minister Albert Osswald .
