Hugo Otto Ferdinand Swart (born May 8, 1885 in Kassel , † April 4, 1952 in Heidelberg ) was a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician .

Life

After matriculation examination Swart took up studies in law and political science, he with two state examination and awarded the degree of Dr. jur. finished. He then entered the Prussian administrative service as a government assessor . Between 1914 and 1933 he was district administrator for the districts of Ratibor , Heydekrug and Landsberg . 1919-1921 he worked for the county Heydekrug member of the county council of the province of East Prussia addition, it chose the county council to country director of the Prussian province of Brandenburg (1930-1933).

After the Second World War , Swart was State Secretary in the State Ministry of the State of Greater Hesse from October 1945 to July 1946 . From 1946 to 1952 he was Lord Mayor of Heidelberg. His grave is in the Bergfriedhof (Heidelberg) , (Lit. F. 6).
