Günter Coufal (born April 3, 1937 in Dresden ) is a German writer .

Life

Günter Coufal grew up in the GDR . After high school he moved to the Federal Republic , where he German and history studied . Today he lives in Esslingen / Neckar . Coufal is a writer of narrative works and poems . In 1993 he received the Clemens Brentano Prize from the city of Heidelberg .
