Günter Diekmann (born September 22, 1954 in Nordenham ) is a former German soccer player . With a total of 341 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga , he is 22nd among the all -time record players.

Career

Günter Diekmann began playing football at TuS Einswarden , where he played both in the youth and men's division. From 1977 Günter Diekmann played continuously in the 2nd Bundesliga, initially 1 season for OSC Bremerhaven and from the 1978/79 season to the end of the 1986/87 season for SG Union Solingen . Diekmann was also the captain in Solingen for many years.

School education

Diekmann attended the Einswarden elementary school in Nordenham from 1960 to 1964 . From 1964 to 1970 he was at the Realschule Nordenham. In 1976/77 Günter Diekmann visited the Bürgerpark industrial training institutes in Bremerhaven . In 1977/78 he was at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences . Diekmann was also at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal .
