Günter Judick

Günter Judick (born December 15, 1929 in Tönisheide (today a district of Velbert); † February 23, 2017 in Velbert ) was a German historian .

Life

Judick initially worked in metalworking companies and as an editor. From 1951 to 1954 he completed a distance learning course at the party college "Karl Marx" and from 1963 to 1968 he studied history with a degree as a historian at the Humboldt University in East Berlin .

Judick joined the KPD on May 2, 1945, and in 1968 the DKP , of which he headed the history commission.

He represented the open list of the PDS from 1999 to 2004 in the city council of Velbert .
