Günter Scherrer

Günter Scherrer (* 1941 ) is a German chef .

Life

In the seventies, Scherrer cooked in the San Francisco restaurant in the Hotel Hilton in Düsseldorf , which was the first large hotel restaurant under him to receive a Michelin star . In 1984 he opened the Victorian in Düsseldorf near Königstrasse as the patron and head chef . After a few months it was also awarded a Michelin star. In 2001 Scherrer retired, which he spends in Galicia .

Scherrer's students include Claus-Peter Lumpp , Berthold Bühler , Henri Bach , Thomas Bühner , Diethard Urbansky and Manfred Schwarz . The sommelier Paula Bosch also worked at the Victorian .
