Günter Spinner

Günter Spinner (* 1972 in Oppenau ) is a German lawyer and a judge at the Federal Labor Court since June 1, 2011 .

Spinner completed his legal training in Stuttgart in 1999 with the second state examination. With the dissertation The agreed works constitution. A comparison of various agreements on the organization of the works constitution , he received his doctorate in 2000 at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In the same year he was awarded the Südwestmetallpreis for his dissertation . In Baden-Württemberg he worked as a judge at labor courts , including the Karlsruhe Labor Court , as well as at the State Labor Court . Spinner was seconded to the Federal Labor Court as a research assistant from 2006 to 2008. In 2010 he was appointed Vice President of the Stuttgart Labor Court.

In March 2011 he was elected judge at the Federal Labor Court.

With Manfred Löwisch , Spinner wrote a commentary on the Dismissal Protection Act (2006). He was also co-author of New Cost Law (2004), Future of Labor Jurisdiction (2005) and editor of The Agreed Works Constitution (2000).
