Günther Hermann Bollhagen (*  4. August 1927 in Hamburg , †  21st April 2014 in Inca , Mallorca ) was a German radio announcer , presenter and composer .

Life

Bollhagen was drafted as an air force helper at the age of 16 and experienced the end of the war at the front. Its first broadcasting license was granted by the US military government in Hamburg in 1948 . In 1951 he came to Radio Bremen , where he performed a variety of tasks as a presenter, news , program and radio play speaker until his retirement at the end of the 1980s . As a disc jockey he made a name for himself as a jazz expert . In particular, he became known to a young audience with his program Plattenpromenade , other programs were the hit parade and the morning moderation of the Hansawelle .

He was the mentor of the young Werner Reinke , whose broadcasting career began in the late 1960s with an internship at Bollhagen's Plattenpromenade .

An interview by Bollhagen with Willi Bongard on the topic of the stock market under the title All about the stock exchange I was published in the record series Wort und Demokratie .

Bollhagen has lived on Mallorca since 1998, where he worked as a freelance composer and photographer . From his marriage to the gallery owner Gisela († 2001), the children Nicola (* 1958) and Mirko (* 1964) emerged.
