Werner Reinke

Werner Reinke (born June 19, 1946 in Delmenhorst ) is a German radio presenter.

biography

In addition to his professional training as a timber importer in the 1960s, Reinke worked as a disc jockey in a " dance shed " and then gained first experience in radio at Radio Bremen . There he was hired in 1969 as a newscaster and moderated youth programs. In 1971 he moved to the Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt am Main. There he took over the Hitparade International from Achim Graul in 1974 (a total of 777 programs until 1989). He moderated broadcasts were lunch boutiques and , 1: 0 for my city , the classical charts , Apropop , pop and Weck , Kuschelrock , the High Fidelity Club and many others. In the 1980s, he performed with other radio presenters at disco parties. From 1991 to 2000 he was active in American football as entertainer and stadium announcer for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the World League of American Football (later: NFL Europe ). In addition, he was and is a freelance spokesperson for commercials and trailers.

From 2002 to 2008 Reinke was again on the Hessischer Rundfunk as the presenter of the program hr3 - extra on Saturday . Between 2002 and 2008 he was station voice at the hr-Welle. Since January 2009, his program has been basically unchanged and can be heard at the same time - on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. - under the title Reinke on Saturday on hr1 . He also returned to his traditional broadcasting slot on Thursday evening and moderated the hr1 lounge there until Easter 2014 .

Reinke was awarded the German Radio Prize 2012 in the "Best Moderator" category. His 7-hour radio show Lass crack from September 2013, which he hosted with his former colleague Thomas Koschwitz , received a lot of attention . On September 26, 2017, Werner Reinke was awarded the honorary prize of the Hessian Journalist Prize for his life's work in journalism to date .
