Günter Pernhaupt

Günter Pernhaupt (born September 28, 1936 in Vienna ; † November 3, 1999 ibid) was an Austrian physician and psychotherapist.

Life

The resulting 1970 first drug outpatient in the vicinity of the main clinic of the General Hospital of Vienna is attributed Günter Pernhaupt.

As part of the Anton Proksch Institute , the doctor set up one of the first inpatient care facilities for drug users in Mödling in 1980 . With a view to the rehabilitation of alcohol, drug and drug addicts, Pernhaupt founded the Grüner Kreis association in Lower Austria in 1983 , of which he was the medical director until 1996.

Having died of a stroke, Günter Pernhaupt was buried in the Ottakring cemetery .
