Günther Pospischil

Günther Pospischil (born May 21, 1952 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian national soccer player . The defender was five times Austrian champion with Wiener Austria .

Career

Günther Pospischil began his football career at SV Zeiselmauer, from where he came to the nearby SC Tulln in the second-class Regionalliga Ost . In 1974 he was recruited from Vienna Austria as the second Tullner after Alfons Dirnberger . In the period that followed, he played mainly with Erich Obermayer , as well as Josef and Robert Sara . Günther Pospischil became Austrian champion in his first season, and from 1978 to 1981 he was able to celebrate four more championships in a row with the violets.
