history
After mountain climbers in the town of Gablonz - now renamed Jablonec nad Nisou - founded the Alpine Club Section Gablonz, in 1933 they bought a shell with the help of a manufacturer, from which today's Gablonzer Hut emerged. In 1945 the hut was confiscated by the Allies as "German property in Austria". In 1951, the Neugablonz-Enns Alpine Club Section was founded and endeavored to get the confiscated hut back. This also succeeded, but the hut was "half-half divided" with a second section, Neugablonz in the Bavarian Allgäu . The construction of the Gosaukammbahn in 1967 made it necessary to expand and modernize the hut. The Enns has been the sole owner of the hut since 2002.
