Gabriel Gascon

Gabriel Gascon (born January 8, 1927 in Montreal ; † May 30, 2018 there ) was a Canadian actor .

Gabriel Gascon made his film debut in 1952 as Janedo in the Canadian film Étienne Brûlé gibier de potence . He was best known in his homeland for the role of Thomas Bédard in the series 14, rue de Galais (1954–1957). He worked in France in the mid-1960s. So he played u. a. 1966 in Bertrand Bliers If I were a spy , in 1968 the father of Claude Jade in André Hunebelle's The Avenger from the Coffin , 1972 the Capitaine Alexandre Poul in René Allio's uproar in the Cervennes , 1977 the pannequin in Alain Corneau's wages of the giants . In Germany he played Odeb in Die Lederstrumpferzählungen (1969). His career has now shifted back to Canada (including Alan Rudolph's Mrs. Parker and her vicious circle , Possible Words with Tilda Swinton ). Gascon was nominated for a Genie Award in 2002 for his performance in Le Marais .
