Gabriela Jaskulla
Gabriela Jaskulla (* 1962 in Dettelbach ) is a German journalist and writer.
Life
Gabriela Jaskulla graduated from the Martino-Katharineum in Braunschweig in 1982 . In the same year she began to study art history, literature and music history as a scholarship holder of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Trier . A research grant took her to Santiago de Compostela in 1984 , which she finished in 1987 with a thesis on Käthe Kollwitz and Castelao (subject: political prints). In 1989 Gabriela Jaskulla completed her studies with a Magister Artium with special distinction . The topic of her master's thesis was: Africa in Cuba. Wifredo Lam and the masks of surrealism .
After a traineeship at Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hamburg (from 1989 to 1991), Gabriela Jaskulla was initially an editor in the foreign television department of NDR and from 1996 to 1997 personal assistant to the artistic director. She then worked as an editor for NDR Kultur in Hanover until 2006 .
In 2006, Jaskulla moved to Hamburg for the Hoffmann und Campe publishing house , where she built up the audio book department, which she headed until 2009.
Since the summer semester 2013 she has held a professorship for journalism at the University of Hanover and the University of Applied Sciences for medium-sized companies. Her teaching activities in Faculty III cover the topics of media, communication and design. The main focus is on the topic of cultural journalism , which she has been teaching as a lecturer in Hanover since 2009. Interview techniques and creative writing are other important topics in her teaching activities.
Jaskulla also conducts practice-oriented media training courses for executives, in which they are trained in interview situations under live conditions.
In addition, she has supported prominent contemporaries from culture and science in the creation of a literary or scientific work in an advisory and editorial manner.
As a freelance journalist, she is u. a. active for Deutschlandradio Kultur , Die ZEIT , Cicero (magazine) and NDR Kultur (especially for the show Classic à la Carte ).
