Gabriele Reinemer

Gabriele Reinemer (* 1948 in Dresden ) is a German painter , graphic artist and sculptor .

Live and act

Reinemer studied make-up at the Dresden University of Fine Arts from 1967 to 1970 and then worked as a make- up artist at the Dresden State Operetta until 1972 . From 1977 to 1982 she studied at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art , which she graduated with a diploma as a sculptor . She has been a freelance sculptor since 1982. In 1989 Reinemer was one of the co-founders of the Dresden Secession 89 . In 1996, with the Secession, she received the State Capital Dresden's sponsorship award . She has been a member of GEDOK since 1999 . In addition, she is a board member of the Saxon Artists Association. In 2007 she became an honorary lecturer for sculptural design at the Heimerer School in Meißen .

Reinemer lives and works in Radebeul - Oberlößnitz . She is married to the artist colleague Detlef Reinemer . Reinemer created the sculpture with which the art prize winners of the large district town of Radebeul are awarded.
