Gaspard Mudiso Mundla

Gaspard Mudiso Mundla SVD (born December 23, 1940 in Kenge ) is a Congolese religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Kenge .

Life

Gaspard Mudiso Mundla joined the religious order of Steyler Missionaries and was ordained a priest on December 8, 1968 .

Pope John Paul II named him Coadjutor Bishop of Kenge on December 13, 1997 . The apostolic nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo , Faustino Sainz Muñoz , donated him episcopal ordination on April 19 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Cardinal Frédéric Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi CICM , Archbishop of Kinshasa , and Dieudonné M'Sanda Tsinda-Hata , Bishop of Kenge.

With Dieudonné M'Sanda Tsinda-Hata's resignation on June 1, 1999, he succeeded him as Bishop of Kenge.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on March 31, 2018.
