The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kenge ( Latin Dioecesis Kengensis , French Diocèse de Kenge ) is in the Democratic Republic of Congo situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kenge .

history

The diocese of Kenge was on July 5, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Illa spei from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariates Kikwit and Kisantu as Apostolic Prefecture Kenge . On July 6, 1963, the Apostolic Prefecture Kenge was by Pope Paul VI. raised to the diocese.

The Diocese of Kenge is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Kinshasa as a suffragan .
