The guest Acher walls ( 3087 m above sea level. A. ), also guest Acher walls are an approximately two kilometer long ridge section of Wallhorn ridge in Venice Group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). They are located in the north of the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger . Neighboring peaks are the Zopetkopf and the Zopetspitze in the south and the Weißspitze in the northeast.

The Gastach walls run in a south-west arch from Wallhorntörl ( 3044 m above sea level ) to Scheidlscharte ( 2982 m above sea level ), with at least five clear ridge elevations and three marked elevations on the map of the Alpine Club. The highest elevation of the Gastach walls is to be found in the south, near the Wallhorntörl there are two other elevations with 3,048 m above sea level. A. or 3025 m above sea level. A. To the northwest of the ridge is the Zettalunitzkees with the Zettalunitzbach, to the southeast the Kleinitzalm in the rearmost Timmeltal with the ice lake. To the northeast of the Wallhorntörl rises the Weißspitze ( 3300 m above sea level ), south of the Zopetkopf ( 3087 m above sea level ), a summit in front of the Zopetspitze ( 3198 m above sea level ).
Promotion opportunities
The Gastach walls were first visited in 1843 by B. Steiner and other mineral seekers. The first touristic inspection took place on August 14, 1898 by L. Prochaska and Heinrich von Ficker . The normal route to the summit of the Gastacher Walls runs from the Eisseehütte on the climb in the direction of the Wallhorntörl before leaving the marked path at the junction towards Zopetscharte and the ascent without a path to the Scheidlscharte south of the Gastach Walls. Then the steep, rocky, partly grassy south-west ridge is climbed until the highest point of the Gastach walls is reached ( I ).
