Gauderndorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Eggenburg in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 98 building areas with 32,238 m² and 110 gardens on 94,343 m² in the cadastral community of Gauderndorf , in 1989/1990 there were 96 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 138 and in 2009/2010 there were 115 buildings on 280 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 210 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 12 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 210 hectares and 11 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 202 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 10 hectares. Gauderndorf's average soil climate number is 47.4 (as of 2010).
