Stoitzendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Eggenburg in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 243 building areas with 77,591 m² and 182 gardens on 134,304 m² in the cadastral community of Stoitzendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 253 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 345 and in 2009/2010 there were 319 buildings on 605 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 441 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 63 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 422 hectares and 66 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 392 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 66 hectares. The average soil climate number of Stoitzendorf is 59.4 (as of 2010).
