The Gauliga East Prussia 1942/43 (officially: Gauklasse Ostpreußen 1942/43 ) was the tenth season of the Gauliga East Prussia of the German Football Association . The VfB Königsberg won by seven points ahead of local rival SV Prussia-Samland Königsberg the Gaumeisterschaft which in the round-robin tournament was held, and thus qualified for the German football championship 1942-43 . After victories over SV Neufahrwasser and SG Ordnungspolizei Warsaw , Königsberg reached the quarter-finals, but was then disqualified due to the use of an ineligible player in the first game against SV Neufahrwasser and Neufahrwasser took Königsberg's place in the quarter-finals.

The Gauliga East Prussia was played again this season with 8 teams, but SV Preußen Mielau withdrew after two games.
