Gauliga Pomerania 1938/39

The Gauliga Pommern 1938/39 was the sixth season of the Gauliga Pommern of the German Football Association . The Gauliga Pomerania was played again this season in a group of ten teams. The Gau championship was secured for the fourth time by SV Viktoria Stolp and qualified for the German soccer championship in 1938/39 . In this, the Stolper group came last in subgroup 2a behind Fortuna Düsseldorf and SpVgg Sülz 07 . This season there was a third relegated team in addition to the two regular relegators. The LSV Pütnitz withdrew voluntarily for the coming season due to the war and played in the second-rate district league.

Promotion lap

The champions of the four second-rate district classes Grenzmark, Mitte, East and West were qualified for the promotion round. The four teams competed in a round-robin tournament with a return game, the two best-placed clubs should be promoted to the Gauliga for the coming season. However, HSV Köslin does not appear in the tables for the coming seasons, even in the lower-class leagues, so it can be assumed that this military sports club had dissolved due to the Second World War.
