The Gauliga Württemberg 1941/42 was the ninth season of the Gauliga Württemberg (officially: Württemberg division ) in football. The decision was made in a direct duel between the Stuttgart local rivals shortly before the end of the season, in which the Degerlocher defeated the Cannstatter 2-1 in front of 8,000 spectators in the Adolf-Hitler arena and thus pulled away in the table unassailable. The Stuttgarter Kickers finally secured their fourth championship title in a row with five points ahead of the VfB Stuttgart team . They qualified for the final round of the German championship and were eliminated there after the qualifying round. The relegation ranks occupied the SSV Ulm and the Stuttgarter SC . SSV Reutlingen and Union Böckingen rose from the district leagues .
