The Gauliga Württemberg 1938/39 was the sixth season of the Gauliga Württemberg in football. The championship was won by the Stuttgarter Kickers , who had joined national player Edmund Conen for this round , seven points ahead of local rivals and defending champions VfB Stuttgart . The Kickers qualified for the final round of the German championship , where they were eliminated as second in the preliminary round. The last two places were occupied by the two newcomers SpVgg Cannstatt and SV Feuerbach , but still did not have to relegate because the league was for the 1939/40 roundwas divided into two squadrons of six teams each due to the war. In the promotion round, VfL Sindelfingen and VfR Aalen prevailed.
