Joint committee of the German commercial economy
The Joint Committee of the German Commercial Industry is a coordination body of German business associations based in the House of German Business in Berlin.
The committee was founded as a GbR on February 23, 1950. It is not bound by instructions and coordinates the educational, social and economic interests of its members across all sectors. In doing so, he refers to reports such as "Economic Education of Schoolchildren - New Concepts for Business Lessons" (2010), "Bureaucracy-causing Norms" (2008), Educational Poverty and Human Capital Weaknesses in Germany "(2006), with which he initiated the Institute of German Economy instructed.
In 1999 the company coordinated the establishment of the “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” foundation for compensation for forced laborers.
