Gene Quintano

Eugene F. "Gene" Quintano (* 1946 ) is an American screenwriter , film director , actor and film producer .

Life

Eugene Quintano graduated from Suffern High School in 1963 . He then studied at Georgetown University , where he received his bachelor's degree in English in 1967 and his master's degree in English literature in 1969 . He then worked as a journalist, including for Playboy . After he had sold his first two scripts for the western Everything is flying around your ears and the adventure film The Secret of the Four Crown Jewels , in which he also stood as an actor in front of the camera, it was the comedy Flitzerwochen in 1989 with which he made his debut as a director . However, it was comedies like Police Academy 3 - ... and nobody can stop them , Police Academy 4 - And now it's all going and Loaded Weapon 1 , for which Quintano was best known.

Quintano currently lives in Marina del Rey with his wife Nancy .
