The Generalkommando 63 (Bavaria) was a major unit of the army of the German Empire during the First World War .

General Command 63 was a General Command z. b. V. ( General Command for Special Use ). These emerged from 1916 and were purely command posts; the military units were assigned to him as required.

history

The Bavarian Lieutenant General Albert von Schoch was appointed commander of the newly founded General Command zbV No. 63 in January 1917 . Until the end of the war, the general command was mainly employed by the occupying army in Romania . Schoch led the German troops back home after the armistice.
