Georg Christian Franz Kübel
Georg Christian Franz Kübel (born April 6, 1757 in Heilbronn ; † September 30, 1834 there ) was mayor of Heilbronn from 1803 to 1819 and a member of the Württemberg state assemblies from 1815 to 1817 .
Life
His father was the second archivist in the Heilbronn archive , Heinrich Franz Ludwig Kübel (1714–1801). After studying law, he worked as a law firm advocate from 1778. On March 20, 1783, the Heilbronn council appointed him sole archivarus with a salary of 250 guilders per year. In 1800 he moved to the council. When Heilbronn was incorporated into the Duchy of Württemberg with the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss on February 25, 1803 and received a new city constitution, the later King of Württemberg appointed the new city parliament, with Kübel becoming the first mayor from 1803 to 1819. Kübel was also sent as a member of the state assemblies from 1815 to 1817.
During Kübel's entire term of office, the Oberamtmann of the Oberamt Heilbronn, which was established in the former syndicate building of the city after 1803, presided over the city court and exercised authority over the council.
Kübel was with Johanna Margarethe Barbara geb. Arnold married and had three daughters and one son.
