Georg Hassel (pedagogue)
Georg Albrecht Dominikus Hassel (born May 27, 1800 in Frankfurt am Main , † August 26, 1851 there ) was a German educator.
He was first a seminarian and then from 1818-1821 a teacher at the model school .
He became head of a boys' educational institution, first in Schlesinger Gasse and then in Oeder Weg . (From 1922 Hasselsche Realschule ev , from 1937 private Georg Hassel School, high school for boys, classes 1-6 eGmbH , until 1945). Philipp Reis and Friedrich Stoltze were his students. In 1830 he was accepted into the Freemason's lodge "Socrates for steadfastness" in Frankfurt .
In 1841 he founded another institution.
