Georg M. Reuther

Georg M. Reuther (born November 23, 1923 in Vienna ; † April 17, 2002 in Munich ) was an Austrian production and line producer at German film.

biography

Reuther founded the production company ' Österreichische Wochenschau und Filmproduktions-KG ' in 1946 and later worked as a co-producer for GW Pabst's company ' Pabst-Kiba '. Reuther later also worked as head of production for the German ' Rhombus ' film.

Since the 1960s he has appeared as a production and line manager for a number of selected co-productions, including all of Géza von Radványi's late productions and a few international films with direct or indirect German participation such as Something for Everyone and The Pied Piper .

After David Hamilton's soft-focus soft sex film Tender Cousins , Reuther withdrew from the film business.
