Georg Nikolaus Bärmann (born May 19, 1785 in Hamburg ; † March 1, 1850 there ) was a German writer.

Georg Nikolaus Bärmann was the son of Georg David Böhrmann from Coburg and his wife Anna Lucia Bauser from Seester (Holstein).

He was a language and business teacher in Hamburg and from 1810 to 1837 head of a private school he founded. He translated works from English, French and - together with Carl Richard - from Spanish. He also wrote linguistic and local history texts and wrote in the Low German dialect.

While working in Hamburg, he wrote the text of the Hamburg anthem Hammonia.
