Georg Rosbigalle (born August 12, 1926 in Breslau ; † June 15, 2012 in Erfurt ) was a German football player .
Career
Georg Rosbigalle gained experience in Breslau even before the Second World War in the first team of the Breslau FV 06 , which played in the Gauliga Silesia . After the war he was initially active at SG Kirchheim, Motor Ichtershausen and Motor Gotha , before joining Turbine Erfurt in 1952 . The left midfielder played a total of 185 times in the GDR league for Erfurt and scored 28 goals. He also played 21 times in the FDGB Cup and 23 times in the second-rate GDR league . Rosbigalle played a total of 229 competitive games and scored 34 goals. In 1954 and 1955 he was a GDR champion with Turbine Erfurt.
In 1952, Rosbigalle played the first two international matches of the GDR national soccer team . On September 21, the team lost 3-0 to the Polish national team in Warsaw , and on October 26th they lost 3-1 to Romania in Bucharest .
After his active career, Rosbigalle studied at the DHfK in Leipzig , became a sports teacher and was subsequently assistant trainer, among others at FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt and 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig . From 1969 to 1971 he was head coach at BSG Kali-Werra Tiefenort .
Georg Rosbigalle died on June 15, 2012 at the age of 85 in Erfurt.
