Georg Sperlich
Georg Sperlich (born April 27, 1877 in Beuthen , † December 21, 1941 in Münster ) was a German lawyer .
From September 1, 1909, Sperlich was initially a treasurer of the city of Münster, before he was elected mayor of Münster in 1919 . He held the office of Lord Mayor of the city from 1920 to 1932.
During his term of office, the expansion of the Aasee , the construction of the Münsterland hall and the Loddenheide airfield fall .
Sperlich was a member of the Catholic student associations AV Guestfalia Tübingen , AV Silesia Halle, VKDSt Saxonia Münster and AV Cheruscia zu Münster in the CV . The discussion about the construction of a new judicial building on Schlossplatz ended his office as mayor when the main magistrate withdrew his support on April 27, 1932.
