Georg Wilhelm von Aschersleben (* 1702 ; † 1775 ) was a Prussian chamber president. From 1742 until his dismissal in 1763 he headed the Pomeranian War and Domain Chamber .

He came from the noble von Aschersleben family from Uckermark . His father Ernst Sigmund von Aschersleben was the heir to Crussow and Polßen in the Uckermark . Georg Wilhelm von Aschersleben had four brothers, including Hans von Aschersleben (* 1698, † 1772), who was the district administrator and vice-regional director of the Uckermark.

Aschersleben attended the Joachimsthalsche Gymnasium in Berlin and then studied at the University of Frankfurt . He entered the Prussian civil service. At first he worked in the office of the general management . In 1725 he came to the Kurmärkischen War and Domain Chamber , in 1730 then to the Königsberg War and Domain Chamber , where in 1736 he became War and Domain Councilor.

In 1740 he became chamber director at the Pomeranian War and Domain Chamber in Stettin . As the successor to Philipp Otto von Grumbkow , he was promoted to chamber president in 1742. King Friedrich II was repeatedly dissatisfied with his administration. In 1749 the king refused a request for a salary supplement; if Aschersleben does not stop with "his fucking", he cannot expect any improvements. In 1763 King Friedrich II finally dismissed Aschersleben, as did the Szczecin Chamber Director Victor Siegmund von Miltitz . In 1768 King Friedrich II refused a pension for Aschersleben.

Aschersleben was a landlord on Klockow . His wife Sophie Philippine was born de Forcade , daughter of Lieutenant General Jean Quirin de Forcade , and widowed de Gleveaux . Aschersleben died in 1775. His Klockow estate fell to his son Friedrich Wilhelm Sigismund von Aschersleben († 1781), who was a captain in the Prussian army.
