Appreciation

Georg Wilsdorf has contributed to the establishment of several breeding associations for various animal species at the Chamber of Agriculture in the province of Brandenburg. He made great merits as managing director of the German Society for Breeding Science, where he supported the first stage of this association and also dealt with all types of farm animals. In the next periods he dealt with wool processing and sheep breeding, then with beef cattle and small animal breeding. As a result of his association activities, he has published many well-founded articles and several books, with the volume on goat breeding reaching 15 editions.
