George Morfogen

George Morfogen (born March 30, 1933 in New York City , New York - † March 8, 2019 there ) was an American actor and film producer .

Life

Morfogen began his acting career relatively late, his first appearance in 1972 as head waiter in the Peter Bogdanovich comedy Is' was, Doc? , with whom he later worked on some film projects. Morfogen's first major appearance was as Eugenio in the Daisy Miller romance . This was followed by other supporting roles in numerous films. He had his biggest appearance as Bob Rebadow in the prison series Oz - Hell Behind Bars . There he was one of the main characters in 56 episodes alongside Ernie Hudson , Dean Winters and Terry Kinney . His character Bob Rebadow embodies the oldest inmate in the Oswald Maximum Security Penitentiary.

Morfogen was also a producer between 1979 and 1988 and made four films called Saint Jack , They All Laughed , The Mask and The Innocence of Molly .

In 2015, a documentary called The Austin Pendleton Project reported on George Morfogen, among others.
