George Robinson (cameraman)

George Robinson (born April 2, 1890 in California , † August 30, 1958 in Los Angeles , California) was an American cameraman .

Life

Robinson first appeared as an actor in a few short films in the mid-1910s. In the early 1920s he switched to camera work and was involved in more than 170 productions by 1957, including several horror films such as Drácula (1931) and in the 1950s some comedies with Abbott and Costello . From 1953 to 1958 inclusive, he directed several short films.

Robinson has worked on more than one film with directors such as Erle C. Kenton , Charles Lamont and Robert Siodmak, and Rowland V. Lee .
