Georgi Zdrawkow Sarmow (also Georgi Zdravkov Sarmov written, Bulgarian Георги Сърмов ; born September 7, 1985 in Burgas ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Career

society

Sarmow started his career in 1995 at Neftochmic Burgas . In 2006 he moved to FC Chernomorets Burgas which he left after half a season in 2007 in the direction of Levski Sofia . Since the 2006/07 season, the midfielder has won two championships, once the cup and twice the Bulgarian Supercup. In summer 2010 he left Sofia and moved to Kasımpaşa Istanbul in the Turkish Süper Lig . In the 2010/11 season he had to relegate with his new club. He stayed with the club a league lower and managed to get promoted again. In summer 2013 he returned to Bulgaria, where Botev Plovdiv signed him. A year later he returned to Levski. He joined Etar Veliko Tarnovo in the 2017/2018 season via the other posts at Poli Timișoara , Beroe Stara Zagora and Dacia Chișinău .

Even before the end of the 2018/2019 season, Chemnitzer FC announced Georgi Sarmow's commitment to the 2019/20 third division season in April 2019 . Sarmow stayed in Chemnitz until the 2019/2020 winter break.

National team

Internationally, he has played four times for the Bulgarian national team. He made his debut on August 12, 2009 in a friendly international match against Latvia . Sarmov came on as a substitute for Chavdar Jankow at halftime . The game in Sofia was won 1-0.
