Geratshofen is a district of the town of Wertingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube . Geratshofen was incorporated into the town of Wertingen on May 1, 1978 as a district of Gottmannshofen . The place is one kilometer southwest of Gottmannshofen between the rivers Zusam and Laugna .
history
Geratshofen is first mentioned in 1269/71 as "Gerolshoven". In the High Middle Ages , the Wertingen rulership was wealthy in the village . Several monasteries in Augsburg had further shares in the manor .
Religions
The place was always parish to Gottmannshofen. In 1897 an older chapel was replaced by the new To the Innocent Children .
