Gerhard Schinschke

Gerhard Schinschke (born July 11, 1926 in Berlin ; † July 5, 2000 in Garding ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

After completing his acting training, Gerhard Schinschke made his debut at what was then the Prussian State Theater in Berlin . Further stations of his stage career were Erfurt, Hildesheim and Magdeburg. After 1961 he appeared in theaters in West Berlin.

Towards the end of the 1950s, Schinschke took on his first tasks in front of the camera, initially in some DEFA productions, then later in German films and series such as Recht oder Unrecht , Direktion City or Ein Mann wants nach oben .

Schinschke also worked as a voice actor. As such, he lent his voice to Víctor Israel in The Clan of Killers , Frank Jaquet in Black Friday and Philippe Noiret in the Hitchcock thriller Topas . Occasionally he also worked in radio play productions.

Gerhard Schinschke was married to his colleague Ursula Gerstel until his death and died a few days before he was 74 years old.
