Gerhard Senkpiel

Gerhard Senkpiel (born May 7, 1930 in Gischkau , Danziger Höhe district , † September 29, 1994 in Rostock ) was a German functionary of the GDR block party DBD . He was chairman of the Rostock district board of the DBD.

Life

Senkpiel worked as an agricultural assistant from 1945 to 1949, qualified as a state-certified farmer and as an agricultural consultant for the VdgB / BHG in the Grevesmühlen district . In 1950 he became a member of the Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DBD). From 1952 he was district instructor of the DBD as well as seminar and school director of various educational institutions of the party in Bad Kleinen and Osternienburg . He later qualified as a political scientist.

From 1963 to 1977 he was secretary, from 1977 to 1982 deputy chairman and from May 20, 1982 to 1989 chairman of the Rostock district board of the DBD. From 1963 Senkpiel was a member of the Rostock District Assembly . He was also a member of the district committee of the National Front of the GDR since May 20, 1982 . From May 1982 (XI. Party Congress) Senkpiel was also a member of the DBD party executive.
